The Geocachers Creed – GeoSnippits Reboot Podcast: Ep. 214

The Need for a Geocachers’ Creed
A need for morality – as we go over the different key points of the Geocacher’s Creed it is important to know that we are not preaching to everyone about what is right and what is wrong. What the Geocacher’s Creed represents is simply put – good common sense practices. Sometimes it is necessary to point out the obvious as to promote thought and out of that action. So as we go over this tonight there should be many times when you think to yourself, “Well duh!”. Which actually helps confirm the obvious.

Ask Amy

I am going to Going Caching this year. You mentioned in one of your podcasts that you have never cached a Geoart. There is a Geoart of 75 puzzle Geocaches to the West of Rome called Alabama High School mascots.

Are you interested in caching together and completing this Geoart? I will have all of them solved 13 of the 75. I use Cachley and have an offline PQ saved of the Geoart.

Using the corrected cords feature it makes this a very easy hunt. I have used Cachley on two other Geoart adventures, the Arkansas Star(with Docfirewoman) and the Big Wagon at MOGA 2017.

Darryl Wattenburg is coming to Going Caching too I will contact him and see if he is interested in this adventure. It should take 3-4 hours at least…but will allow for 5-6 and have a back up plan for other caches to go find.

You never know how long each will take to find. I could send you the corrected cords to use in Cachley even if you have already planned out each day. I know you get lots of requests to go caching, eat lunch and etc at these Mega events.

I arrive in Rome on Wednesday PM. Thanks for your kindly consideration .

Yours in Geocaching,

Coon&Bud aka Kendall Tabor
