Mississippi County has named recipients of its 2024 infrastructure grant program, awarding $720,050 to assist seven water and sewer infrastructure improvements and tasks.
The Mississippi County H2o and Sewer Infrastructure Grant Plan resources support pay back for water and sewer infrastructure projects designed to deal with the infrastructure demands of the county.
Each grant supplies up to $125,000 to towns inside of the county and can only be utilised for infrastructure assignments. The grants fund up to 75% of job expenditures, with the remaining 25% currently being matched by the applicants.
Etowah will receive $125,000 to improve wastewater pump stations and cure facility.
Dyess has been awarded $125,000 to fund repairs for a leaking water tower.
Gosnell will get $125,000 to fund repairs to the sewer and water methods.
Osceola is set to obtain $125,000 to rehabilitate 30 Elm Street manholes to restrict stormwater penetration of sewer system.
Wilson will get $109,500 to paint and refurbish most important 100,000-gallon h2o tank.
Leachville has been awarded $69,300 to include further good quality controls for drinking water therapy.
Manila has been allotted $41,250 to improve a h2o procedure plant aerator.
